Nenyi George Andah, the former Deputy Minister of Communications, is expected to be named the New Patriotic Party's (NPP) next Communications Director, barring any last-minute changes.
The renowned corporate marketing and communications strategist brings his wealth of experience from the corporate world, both locally and internationally, with calls for him to lead the charge within the NPP.
This also comes at a time when many have argued that the party has suffered from serious communication paralysis in recent years, emphasizing the need for individuals with fresh minds and sufficient experience to take charge in order to adequately trumpet the government's policies and programs.
The administration of Stephen Ayesu Ntim is determined to revitalize the NPP's communication wing in tandem with its' agenda to break the 8'.
Previously, four people were shortlisted: Kamal-Deen Abdulai, Dennis Miracles Aboagye, Nenyi George Andah, and Richard Ahiagbah. However, the numbers were reduced further, with the strategist, commercial executive, and management consultant coming out on top.
This became necessary following broader consultations on Nenyi George Andah's ability to rekindle the spark that had previously existed in the NPP's communication wing.
