The Auditor General resumes work today after 167 days accumulative leave, confirms by Manasseh Azure.
Daniel Yaw Demelevo was asked by the government to take accumulative leave for 167 days. The duration ended today but he was challenged with many charges which prohibits him from resuming work today.
Merely for doing his job and fighting corruption, he has been subjected to all manner of vilification and indignity.
Today, the Board of the Audit Service, which unlawfully audited him and found nothing wrong during his tenure, has shamefully and maliciously accused him of not being a Ghanaian and falsifying his DOB.This notwithstanding that his birth certificate and passport put the matter to rest.
However, in a Facebook post, the auditor general confirmed resuming his job today.
Ghanaian journalist, Manasseh Azure also confirmed it on his Facebook page that Yaw Demelevo is resuming work today.
Taking to his Facebook page, Manasseh Azure wrote " CONFIRMED: Daniel Yaw Demelevo will be in office today as the Auditor General of Ghana"
