Speaking on Onua Maakye show on Onua TV this morning, Captain Smart clearly revealed that there is a plan by Samuel Abu Jinapor and also government to breakdown the chieftaincy institution in Ghana. According to him, Abu Jinapor has made it clear that galamsey activities in various forest reserves and other places are being done by the chiefs.
Captain Smart believes that government want to find a way to tarnish the image of the chieftaincy institution. This is why Samuel Abu Jinapor is blaming galamsey activities on the Ghanaian chiefs.
Captain Smart believes that the chiefs are not involved in these galamsey activities but it is rather the politicians. He believes that the politicians want to use the chiefs as cover ups for their actions.
Due to this, Captain Smart made it clear that such plans by government will never succeed because the chiefs are united in the fight against galamsey activities in Ghana.
"Politicians have seen that they are done dealing with the pastors so it's time to attack the chiefs. So Abu Jinapor has started the strategy to breakdown the chieftaincy institution. But let me assure you, you will never succeed with this one. You and your government will never succeed with this one. Jinapor told us that he has lived in a chief palace before so he knows what he is talking about" he said.
