Member of parliament for Ningo Prampram honorable Samuel George, popular named Sam George has spewed out his intent towards the upcoming debate on the 2021 budget, claiming "it's a budget lacking empathy for the challenges the ordinary Ghanaian faces".
The budget read by minister in charge of government business in parliament honourable Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu and also the majority leader in parliament.
His post on Facebook is a clear call and the exact poised nature of the Ningo Prampram lawmaker when the debate floor is open to him.
Below is what he said:
"This past weekend was spent in Ho with my Colleagues as we had the post-budget workshop with facilitators and discussants to unpack the 2021 budget presented last Friday to Parliament".
"The debates have started today and i hope to take my turn tomorrow as we dissect what is arguably Mr. Akufo-Addo's most austere budget".
"It is a budget lacking empathy for the challenges the ordinary Ghanaian faces. It shows a yawning disconnect between the managers of the economy and the realities of the economy"
The situation is dire. Hope cannot be a strategy but it looks like it is all we are left with. Our sad reality.
