Edem Agbana, the NDC Deputy National Youth Organizer has been sharing some insights as to what caused the defeat of the NDC at the hands of the ruling NPP. The NDC suffered their second defeat at the hands of the NPP in 2020 and this made many query the reasons that might have caused the loss.
On ‘The Big Issue’ today with Berla Mundi today, Wednesday, March 9, 2022, Edem Agbana noted that the state of insecurity in the country is nothing to write home about. He explained that though the NDC have no vigilante groups, he wishes they still had. He opined that one of the biggest mistakes the NDC made prior to the 2020 elections was to disband vigilantes.
According to Edem, the NPP have failed to disband their vigilantes and rather using it to terrorize the NDC. Edem added that he wishes he could create vigilantes to get ready ad protect the interest of the NDC. He boldly declared that the NDC will do anything and employ any means to make sure that they are not victimized by the NPP in further elections.
“We have learnt our lesson. We will not sit down for Akufo-Addo and his hoodlums to win. We will not watch them misbehave again. We want to know the reasons why 8 people were killed in 2020” Edem maintained.
