The debate and arguments over the legalization of LGBT in Ghana has undoubtedly been the most anticipated topic in the country as most individuals are in a dilemma as to the way forward.

Even though Sam George and his colleagues are actively fighting for the legalization of the Anti-LGBT bill, the 18-member committee headed by Lawyer Akoto Ampaw is also actively pushing for the legalization of same-sex relationships in the country.

With respect to this, a recent trending video of President Akufo Addo sharing his immense opinions and thoughts on the most anticipated LGBT has caused massive reactions online as most individuals never expected such response from the incumbent President.

Speaking on the most anticipated show on AlJazeera TV, the incumbent President, Nana Akufo Addo took the privilege to share his immense thoughts and concerns on the legalization of LGBT in Ghana and whether it’ll eventually be legalized or not.

The host of the show took the privilege to question the incumbent President on why LGBT hasn’t been already legalized in Ghana and whether the legalization bill will eventually be passed in parliament.

Surprisingly, the incumbent President, Nana Akufo Addo emphatically stated that, the practice of same-sex relationships and marriages was bound to happen in Ghana just like other country’s nationwide.

“This is a social-cultural issue; I don’t believe that in Ghana so far, there is officially a strong coalition that has emerged which is having that impact on public opinion that will say change it, let’s then have a new power in Ghana. I think that it is something that is bound to happen like elsewhere in the world”, President Akufo Addo emphatically revealed.
