The member of parliament for Ablekuma West Constituency Mrs Ursula Owusu-Ekuful has commissioned an ultramodern basketball court for the people of Dansoman SSNIT Flat. This is part of the bespoke projects being rolled out and aimed at making Dansoman the headquarters of basketball in Ghana.
Mrs Ursula Owusu who is also the Communication Minister said that the people of Dansoman voted for development and progress. They voted for prosperity and to enhance their livelihood and living conditions. It doesn't matter the party one voted for or belong.
She also added that if their representative in the government is doing well and working to meet their expectations and aspirations, they have to support and encourage her to do more.
The Member of parliament and Communication Minister revealed that what she has done at the Dansoman SSNIT Flat is one it's kind in the country. This is because most people often fight for AstroTurf and standard pitches because football is the major sporting activity in the country but she is poised at developing basketball to also be one of the big sports in the country.
She said she is putting things in place to ensure Dansoman become number one basketball town in the country
The residents of Dansoman commended the member of parliament for her good work and listening to everyone and attending to their needs
