We know you started it but we can’t give you all the credit- Mahama told

Mahama has been told these words which is gaining some reactions. John Dramani Mahama as seen few years ago begun some infrastructural projects which gained him a lot of applause. Mahama was referred to as the infrastructure president and this was clear in his roads, schools and many other projects. The Npp after assuming office and ruling this government decided to finish some of these projects.

This has become an issue since governments who are always voted into power at some point decide to claim ownership of projects which were not commenced by them. John Mahama who left office a few years after the Pokuase interchange was succeeded with the Npp and their leader, Nana Addo.

The Pokuase interchange was commissioned and this is when members of the new patriotic party heavily reacted after the Npp were chastised for not being the ones who started the project. We know you started it but we can’t give you all the credit. It is only due to the hard work of this government and Nana Addo that the project came this far- Memebers of the Npp told Mahama.

Indeed, if governments or political parties see the need to finish projects which were left bare by previous government, it will be a way to cut down costs and unnecessary use of money and this will give many access to employment etc.
