The former president HE John Dramani Mahama has called on the government to build the country on consensus and consultation. According to Mahama, Ghana is a country endowed with all the natural resources and people with exceptional talent so the government should consult other so that we all can build the country together.
"Ghana is a country with exceptional human talent. Time is ticking fast, and yet we can make things right if we work as one nation with a common destiny. As I have said in the past, broad consultations and consensus-building does not take anything away from a leader".
In his words, he noted that the government should seek ideas from people so that problems facing the economy the Free SHS can be tackled.
“Broad consultations that bring the best and brightest together with stakeholders can forge a consensus around issues such as economic recovery strategy, or challenges of Free SHS in the national interest". He noted.
He urged further that we should embrace and be guide by truth, transparency, probity and accountability and also, we must hold on to principles that was passed to us by our forefathers so that our country becomes strong and great.
