A communication team member of the NDC, Margaret Ansei, has questioned the competence of Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu and the leadership of the Majority side of Parliament for allowing a first-timer MP to order them to walk out of Parliament when they were supposed to defend the 2022 budget.
Margaret Ansei made this statement on 'THE GUMBE SHOW' on tv XYZ yesterday, 30th November 2021, when she gave her opinion on the brouhaha surrounding the approval and the rejection of the 2022 budget statement.
According to Margaret Ansei, Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu is the leader of the majority side of Parliament and also a minister of Parliamentary affairs, who is clothed with the responsibility to make sure that the businesses of the government succeed in Parliament.
So, for the first time in our history when the government presented a budget to Parliament and as a leader, Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu allowed a first time MP who hasn't spent two years in Parliament to order him and the rest to walkout from Parliament, any serious government under the sun will fire him as the leader of Parliamentary affairs.
Margaret Ansei indicated that she is not surprised at the conduct of Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu because the head of the executives sitting at the Flagstaff House is himself super incompetent. So, his leadership reflections are what is happening in Parliament.
"How can a subordinate give a command to his leader to get out of Parliament? Any serious government will make sure that Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu, Afenyo Markin and all the leadership of the majority are sacked for allowing a first timer in Parliament to command them."
Margaret Ansei stated that if President Akufo Addo is serious, he should change the leadership of the majority in Parliament, and by now Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu should have been given a sitting at the back of Parliament for his incompetence.
