The shocking news which reached the desk of TheProgrammeNews yesterday was the coup d'etat which has happen in Guinea. A special forces which was led by Lieutenant-Colonel Mamaduly Doumbouya claim the president was in their custody. These forces staged the coup d'etat because of the mismanagement of resources and the rampant corruption in the country. It has been reported that some section of people in Guinea have rejoiced about this news whiles supporters of the president Alpha Conde are aggrieved.
The president of Ghana, Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo-Addo who couples as the Ecowas Chairman also expressed his thoughts about the coup d'etat in Guinea. He wrote a long statement on his verified social media handles to condemn what the special forces has done. According to him what they did was unconstitutional and he demands the released of the president (Alpha Conde).
After posting this on his page, most Ghanaians did not take it likely with the honourable president as they descended on his from all angles.
