Today marks the deadline for Sim re-registration as was given by the Minister of Communications and Digitalisation, Ursula Owusu-Ekuful. However many Ghanaians have still not been able to get their Ghana card and as such have not been able to re-register their Sim cards.
Honorable Sam George about an hour ago made a post on his official Twitter handle to put the minds of such Ghanaians at ease. He announced that no sim card will be blocked tomorrow as was threatened by honorable Ursula Owusu-Ekuful.
"I am 100% confident that ABSOLUTELY NO SIM card would be blocked tomorrow! This is a victory for the Ghanaian people who are waiting on the NIA to produce their Ghana Cards for them. For God and Country" - Sam George tweeted.
He further advised those who have not been able to re-register their Sim cards to "Keep following up on your Ghana Card. When you finally get it, proceed to register your SIM. Cheers"

Sam George was part of the Ghanaians who took the issue of Sim blocking to court and as such his latest announcement can be relied upon.
