The government of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has performed appallingly, according to the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), failing to keep the majority of the pledges it made during the Election 2020 campaign.
In an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in Sunyani, Mr. Atta Kusi, the NDC's Sunyani East Constituency Secretary, stated that the electorate would be unhappy if the NDC did not succeed in winning the upcoming general election to improve Ghanaians' lot.
Mr. Kusi claimed that the country's rising tendency in inflation has harmed the economy and many Ghanaians' socioeconomic conditions.
He claimed that evaluations of the government's performance were crucial and made plain Our research demonstrates that Ghanaians are prepared to vote for the NDC in order to recover political power, therefore President Akufo-Addo and his administration have disappointed the good people of Ghana, according to this statement.
"The NDC is prepared to challenge political dominance while providing humble service to Ghanaians. We have a solid track record, and we think Ghanaians are willing to entrust us with the responsibility of serving the country with humility," he continued.
Regarding the party's branch executive elections, Mr. Kusi stated that the NDC's strength was mostly dependent on its branches, showing that the Party was resolved to create strong branches that would work even more to improve the Party's electoral prospects in the Election 2024.
