I'm Very Disappointed In President Akufo Addo - Omanhene Says

The Political atmosphere in Ghana at the moment is obviously unbearable. The President's response to the Paramount Chief of Aflao Traditional Area about the abandoned E-block community day senior high school in the Aflao Traditional Area has caused a lot of issues and it's bringing up other rising matters.

This response from the President Nana Akufo Addo to Torgbui Adzonu-Gaga Amenya Fiti V has made Omanhene Kwabena Asante to express his disappointing in the President and the manner in which he answered questions on the Kokroko morning show on Peace FM.

President Akufo Addo told the host Kwame Sefa Kayi who was interviewing him that if the Paramount Chief thinks he is frustrated then he should continue the E-block Community Day Senior High School in the Aflao Traditional Area.

This response came prior to the request made by the chief about the government coming into his land to complete the school or else they should come and carry away the building from his land. The chief also gave the Minister of education a 14-day ultimatum to come and continue the project and that might have caused that response from the President.

Adom TV Badwam Host Omanhene Kwabena Asante speaking on Dwaso Nsem on Adom 106.3 FM angrily asked the President to retract from the statement he made in response to what the Paramount Chief of Aflao Traditional Area said. He said that, as the Father of the country you are not supposed address the chiefs of this country like that, because this same chiefs are the ones that help settle issues of national interest in the country.

He further said that, Ghanaians voted for him and so he should rather serve as and not for him to expect us to serve him. What he said yesterday was just not it and he is worried and very disappointed in the President for what he said.

And after revealing his disappointing in the President he asked the President to apologize to the chief and Ghanaians as a whole.
