The member of parliament for the Suame constituency and minister of parliamentary affairs, Hon. Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu has debunked claims that the President of the Republic, H.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo has released the list of the MMDCE'S as alleged by many, and have given a hint on the date for the release of the shortlisted MMDCE'S to take over administrative work.
The Honourable member in an interview with King Edward De Slave on Hello FM's Akoko Abon disclosed that there have been some important discussions with all stake holders including the President to look out for the possible ways to come out with the full list of MMDCE'S as anticipated by citizens in various constituencies across the country. Hon. Osei Kyei Mensah added that there are several deliberations and arrangements that goes on into the selection of MMDCE'S, and that there is no need for rush in the selection process. He also drew the attention of Ghanaians on the referendum to pave way for the election of MMDCE'S which did not come into enforcement. According Hon. Osei Kyei, the voting of the MMDCE'S would have fast tracked the selection process without any delay. However he has assured the general public to keep calm as the President of the Republic has hint on the date for the release of the full list of the MMDCE'S.
Hon revealed that the list will be released by the close of September and that all Ghanaians who are anticipating strongly to see their new MMDCE'S should keep calm as their wish will be granted by the President soon.
