God Has Started Answering My Questions – Hawa Koomson Boldly Speaks On Her Biggest Challenge

It was a lively discussion as Hawa Koomson, the Minister for Fisheries stormed the studios of Asempa FM for an interview on Ekosii Sen. The versatile minister has been involved in a number of controversies, notably the gun shooting incident, vetting and death of fishes. Many felt that she didn’t deserve a position as minister but time has proven that she is has done fairly well so far.

According to her, she never felt embarrassed after the vetting, where many claimed she made a mockery of herself. She noted that she did great and her answers to questions like what is fish farming was excellent contrary to the jeers. She said she knew that many sought to derail her but God had purpose for her. Two of the interesting questions from Osei Bonsu bothered on how the Minister fared during her vetting and how she was handling the bad reputation Kasoa has.

“English is not my mother tongue. I was a head teacher and having a Masters degree so why should someone claim I can’t speak English. I agree I don’t speak big English but I am good. Kasoa is now changing. I thank God for that. We have been praying about this issue. I took it before some powerful men of God. We prayed that Kasoa will get a positive name. All through Easter we have been praying. Now security has been beefed and crime rate gradually going down. God is finally answering my prayers” Hawa Koomson said.

Kasoa has been a hotspot for a series of crimes with many calling for a military barracks to be built in the area to curb the crime tide. The Minister who also serves as MP for the are reiterated her desire to leave Kasoa in a stable way. She called for support and prayers for as she works for the Awutu Senya East constituency
