Former NDC MP Passed On

Previous Member of Parliament (MP) for Sawla-Tuna-Kalba body electorate, Donald Dari Sodiitey, has passed.

Mr Sodiitey passed on Sunday, May 22 at Tamale Teaching Hospital (TTH) subsequent to fighting an undisclosed disease.

Late Sodiitey was MP on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for quite a long time.

He was likewise an instructor by calling.

His end was declared by his family who likewise unveiled he would be covered in Sawla as per Islamic entry customs.



Soditey is a member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC). In 2012, he contested for the Sawla/Tuna/Kalba seat on the ticket of the NDC sixth parliament of the fourth republic and won.


Donald Dari Soditey (born September 25, 1957) is a Ghanaian politician and member of the Sixth Parliament of the Fourth Republic of Ghana representing the Sawla/Tuna/Kalba Constituency in the Northern Region on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress.

Soditey was born on September 25, 1957. He hails from Carpenteryir – Sawla, a town in the Northern Region of Ghana. He earned a teachers’ certificate in 1990.
