Democracy as accepted and practiced by many countries across the globe has become a vital tool for the political stability of every nation.
Citizens of countries that do not respect democracy and the rule of law in relation to the constitutional rule of their respective countries end up creating havoc amidst fear and insecurity in their countries.
The president's statement that 'Ghana Will Defend Democracy and Constitutional Rule' has sparked reactions on facebook. For the president of the Republic of Ghana to post such a statement on his facebook page has revealed how determined he is to promote and defend the democracy of Ghana.
Peace is crucial, and in every country, adherence to the laws that govern the country is that which keep the citizens of that country in total peace and stability, encouraging massive economic growth.
Every patriotic citizen of any country would do all they can to maintain peace in their countries. This can only be done by allowing democracy to reign asnwe submit to total adherence to the constitutional rule.
Moments after the president of Ghana has updated his facebook page with this post, Ghanaians that are peace-loving and has surrendered themselves to the democracy of Ghana has trouped to the page to react.
Billy Agyekum was inspired by the message of the president. He hails the president as a great mind that is always seeking to enlighten the citizenry. He has also prayed for God's wisdom and direction for the president in the hope that it would lead to the betterment of Ghana.
Anane Pobi has also delivered a strong prayer of exhortation in reaction to the statement of the president. He has asked the president not to feel sad or discouraged because no one has power over his life, except Jesus.
Edward Abanga has also declared that he did not believe that any president would love to do what Alpha Conde of Guinea did, thereby disrupting the constitutional rule. He has called the statement of the president as a good one.
