According to Captain Smart, Chairman Wontumi usually flaunts wealth on social media a lot which does not speak well of him and also the nation. He added that Chairman Wontumi mines gold in Tarkwa and use the money generated from such mining to open radio and television stations. Captain Smart also added that Chairman Wontumi also uses the money from the mining to make posters and banners for the NPP to display in the Ashanti region.
Captain Smart believes that Chairman Wontumi should do a proper decoration in the Ashanti region with the money he generates from mining and stop misusing them. He urged government to arrest Chairman Wontumi for conducting himself in this behaviour and misusing state resources for personal gains.
Captain Smart stated clearly that it is only in Ghana where a Chairman for a party flaunts gold in car boots and display several amounts of money. He advised that these behaviours should be put up by the musicians and not Chairman Wontumi.
