A job can be a source of great fulfillment in every person’s life, but finding a job is often a problem for many Ghanians.
Another thing that’s making it difficult for people with disabilities to get jobs has to do with having limited mobility.
I tried to work when I came to Lagos, but because of my illness, people do not allow me to work with them. Even when my friend helps me find employment, before I expose myself to the employer and see my face, I won't let myself work for it. They may not believe I can do the work, but I think I can do any work, Musa Modu said. I don't know.
Musa Modu wasn't such born. His parents worked in a farm when he was a child to provide food to his family. He came from Borne, but was looking for greener weeds in the state of Lagos for over eight years.
Many good would not hesitate to work for them. We pray that Mary Daniel will become his case because of her condition, the one who struck sachet water hawker with much love from the friendly Nigerian people.
