James Klutse Avedzi is the Deputy minority leader of Parliament and also the member of Parliament for the Ketu North constituency.
Honorable James Klutse Avedzi has told the Auditor general of Ghana to check the accounts of the current first lady of Ghana to see if the money funded is the exact amount she was supposed to pay.
He urged the auditor general to check the amount paid to Rebecca Akuffo-Addo as allowances since 2017 to see if there is balance she is supposed to add.
"Under his Excellency Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo-Addo, in trying to and introduce some considerable amount of transparency regularizing these whole thing so that no will have his or her exclusive right, because he is an executive to do whatever he wants with this. We found out to be worst than a situation where you can do anything.
The controversy this whole issues give rise has actually induce the first lady and Second lady to say that; okay we have not even written to accept the new proposal, we are rejecting it, if even the allowances given us is an issue we are paying back. And people are saying her account to be checked." Deputy minority leader, James Klutse Avedzi said
"Then the respectfully all the account of all the first ladies must be checked. The we must start from her Excellency Lordina Mahama" he added
