The maverick legislator has indicated that he will not contest to be a Parliamentarian again in 2024 when his term as the lawmaker for Assin Central expires.
When asked whether he has future presidential ambition, Kennedy Agyapong told Daddy Fred, the host of the Announcer Newspaper that, he (Kennedy Agyapong) finds fulfilment in creating jobs for Ghanaians by setting up businesses. However, he added that if a time comes and Ghanaians call on him to run for the presidency of Ghana, he can consider the call.
"All that I want to do in this world is to set up businesses and create jobs for the youth. I have more joy in that than becoming a president but if there comes a time when the people feel that Kennedy should run as a presidential candidate, we can consider," he said.
Kennedy Agyapong added that, one does not need to be a president to effect change in people's lives and thus, his little contribution to the society remains his joy and priority.
