The Minority Chief Whip and Member of Parliament for Asawase Constituency, Hon. Muntaka Mohammed has revealed how the leadership of the majority in Parliament is unfairly treating Adwoa Sarfo as he drops more secrets.
Hon. Sarah Adwoa Sarfo is one of the three members of Parliament who have been referred to the Privileges Committee for continuous absence from Parliament House.
Meanwhile, during an interview with Evans Mensah of Joy News, Hon. Muntaka revealed that Adwoa Sarfo has not been fairly treated by the leadership of the majority in Parliament. He revealed Adwoa Sarfo asked for a leave for absence and the Speaker denied her.
" The House is giving a lot of unfair treatment to Adwoa Sarfo. I am reliably informed that she wrote a leave of absence and the Leadership of the majority refused to recommend her because they needed her for the E-Levy. So she noticed that and decided to write a direct letter to the Speaker informing him of what her leadership is doing and so she's, asking for the leave of absence directly from the Speaker."
" When the Speaker had the second letter, he also sent it back to the majority leader and he also mentioned that he's not aware. So based on that, the Speaker refused to grant her the leave of absence." Hon. Muntaka revealed.
Thanks for reading this article. Do you think the leadership of the majority is maltreating Adwoa Sarfo or do you think they are trying to pay her back?
