The lawmaker who in recent times has been charge with criminal activities was absent in court for the third time.
On Monday, November 29, when the case was called in court, his lawyer Victor Kwadjoga Adamu said , his client Hon Sosu is on the constitutional and legal Committee of parliament for which they are sitting on the ANTI-LGBTQ bill in
According to the committee, Hon Sosu is a ranking member of the committee and with the ongoing exercise coming up this morning, which means he is on parliamentary duty.
Prosecutor Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Sylvester Asare argued that the conduct of the MP is clear that he does not want to appear before the court.
Quoting on Section 167 of Act 30, (ASP )Asare prayed the court to issue a bench warrant for the arrest of the lawmaker.
The court presided over by His Worship Oheneba Kuffuor while granting the request for bench warrant said there has been alot of " deception" in the system.
Muntala Inusah the court correspondent reports that, one Rahman, was in court to represent the lawyer Sosu, but the court in criminal matters , accused persons are to be present in court.

Finally the case has been postponed to January 12, 2022.
