Most Ghanaians have expressed their displeasure on the payment of free water tax to fill economic gap. Last year, President Akuffo Addo announced free water and electricity for Ghanaians. But about 9 months later, the government has made a deceptive you turn.
However, most Ghanaians have expressed their disappointment in the government. Some affirmed that, they think, they have explained to us free means. I give to you by saying is free and at a convenient time, l ask you to pay later. Am sure we shall pay directly for the free SHS.
Some also indicated that, it is a disgrace to the members of NPP for such deceitful talk to Ghanaians. Just you being an NPP member, please explain to me in common language the real meaning of FREE and LEND before you attach me.
Also, other claimed, sometimes, it’s better to remain in your current situation weather bad or worse than to demand for something that might destroy you for a lifetime. I quiet remember some people were seriously counting free water and electricity as part of NPP’s achievements.
