Senior comrade Taate Kwame Amekplame has surprised the entire National Democratic Congress members and the member of parliament for North Tongu Constituency Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa after bringing out an NDC T-Shirt that was used for Rawlings' campaign in 1996 today to show Okudzeto Ablakwa.
Taking the shirt out, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa expressed so much gratitude and joy for the dedication the man has shown and the loyalty he has for the National Democratic Congress.
Okudzeto Ablakwa upon seeing the man and remembering the t-shirt shouted in joy as he started narrating how it all started.
According to Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, this t-shirt marks Rawlings' landslide victory and senior comrade Taate Kwame Amekplame has not only surprised him but made him proud for keeping such a historic treasure for more than 25 years and counting.
Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa said wearing the shirt after 25 years implies that the man has kept the faith of the National Democratic Congress and outstanding dedication to Manya branch in the North Tongu Constituency
Okudzeto Ablakwa proudly declared that for the sake of the faithful comrades in the national democratic Congress like him, the current generation of the NDC members can never be distracted, discouraged, confused or divided because they are now going to focus on things that matters for the party , thus, rebuilding the foundations of the party through dedication and hardwork and providing principled inspiring policies for the future of the country.
He said the sacrifices of millions who have investigated their hope in the dreams of the National Democratic Congress will never be allowed to be in vain
