NPP Hot As Party Bigwig Vows To Vote Against Akuffo Addo If He Pays Menzgold Customers

Ghanaians have barely three months for the 2020 general elections. The manifesto wars between ruling New Patriotic Party and opposition National Democratic Congress have started. Former President John Mahama and Akuffo Addo will clash again for the third time and this will create a Battle of Records between the two leaders.

Kwadwo Boateng Agyemang, a staunch member who also doubles as Chairman of the New Patriotic Party at the New Juaben North constituency has mounted huge pressure on President Akuffo Addo in an interview. He has vowed to vote against the NPP if they decide to pay the customers of defunct gold dealership company.

Aggrieved customers of Menzgold have vowed to vote against the NPP government for failing to pay them their locked up funds.

Former president and flagbearer of the opposition NDC John Mahama has pledged to pay their locked up funds when he wins the upcoming elections. This promise was earlier disclosed by the party's National Communications Director, Lawyer Sammy Gyamfi and later confirmed by John Mahama during the unveiling of his running mate.

This promise has won the hearts of the aggrieved customers and decided to vote for the NDC.

A constituency Chairman speaking in an interview on Neat FM today August 21, 2020 has vowed to vote against Akuffo Addo is he decides to pay the customers.

He said, "Its good Mahama has now promised to pay them. I will vote against Akuffo Addo should he promise to pay them."
