IMF Bailout; Defending The NPP Is Like Defending Satan In Heaven - Asiedu Nketia

Asiedu Nketia has been one very controversial person amidst the case of the IMF scandal on the New Patriotic Party after a bailout went viral on social media.

A lot of prestigious and high position holders have already shared their point of view on the story, on the side of Kennedy Okompreko Agyapong who is known to be a true member of the party has shared his disappointment in it.

Not long ago, Asiedu Nketia popularly known as the general mosquito, speaking on Okay FM’s ‘Ade Akye Abia’ programme, laid the country’s dire financial situation and current state of economic paralysis by the NPP government on the doorstep of the Finance Minister and the EMT.

He emphatically based his descriptions on facts claiming the amount Ghana received as Covid-19 funds are much greater than the combined money received into the country from the IMF ” Ghana received lots of support from the World Bank and other benevolent institutions during the Covid-19 pandemic, I, therefore, find it absurd to hear people say that COVID-19 and the Ukraine-Russia war has contributed to the poor performance of the country’s economy.

He further went ahead in saying, “Anyone who can defend NPP’s decision to go to the IMF for a bailout with this inexplicable analysis can defend Satan in Heaven which clearly states that the NPP governance is a failure as compared to the NDC.
