We Will Collect GH¢33.5B From IMF - Oppong Nkrumah Discloses

A member of parliament for the Ofoase-Ayirebi constituency and also the Minister for Information, Kojo Vincent Oppong Nkrumah has come out to say that the perception of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government going to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to request money is different from that of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

According to Kojo Vincent Oppong Nkrumah, John Dramani Mahama had no external problems during his governance but rather problems of Domestic mismanagement and that is why he went to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) for assistance.

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) government has Domestic measures to cope with the economy from being mismanaged and the tax on electronic transactions (E-levy) is included but the only problem making them go to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) is the external shock.

Kojo Vincent Oppong Nkrumah said there are external problems in the country, especially the hardship due to the increment of goods and services so, therefore, they will collect GH¢33.5B from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to solve them.
