It was just recently that the speaker of parliament and his convoy were involved in a fatal accident that claimed the life of the lead dispatch rider.
The funeral of the dispatch rider is yet to be held, and today, the 14th of August 2021, another bad news seek to befall parliament.
Today was the funeral ceremony of the father of the member of parliament for South Tongu Constituency, Honourable Ablakwa Okudzeto.
As usual, two of his colleague Members of Parliament visited the funeral to show their condolence to their colleague.
Unfortunately, upon their return, they were met with an accident. According to reports, the car Summersaulted twice after it met with a KIA truck loaded with concrete blocks. Fortunately, there were no casualties.
The MPs involved in the accident were Honourable Rockson Dafeamekpor, South Dayi Member of Parliament and Ashaiman MP, Ernest Norgbey who was part of the team from the funeral. See pictures of the incident below.
