One of the main pioneered mantras that Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo and the Bawumia administration introduced was Ghana Beyond Aid. They presented this policy as a very feasible and viable one. The policy primarily is intended to declare to the Ghanaian populace that this current government will not go for aid in any form from any international community.
The government failed in heeding the policy such that, the Nana Addo-led administration had doubled the total accumulated debt which he inherited from Mahama. Much attention was not given to that failed policy. However, the focus of Ghanaians has been directed to that after the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo announced and directed the Finance Minister to formally engage the IMF. Investigative Journalist, Manasseh Azure Awuni, has reacted to this development but not in the normal and obvious normal way.
He rather slammed the government in an indirect way by directly criticizing the soldiers who arranged themselves in such a manner that looking from the aerial point of view, all one can see is "Ghana Beyond Aid".
"The soldiers who rehearsed and did this suffered in Vain"
