The member of Parliament for Odododiodoo constituency has been attacked by many on social media for making some allegations against the president of the state. According the member of Parliament, the president may be behind the persons who are fighting for gay rights in Ghana.
This comes after Akoto Ampaw, who is believed to be the president's lawyer is everywhere fighting for the rights of the LGBTQI persons in Ghana. This has made the MP suspects that, since the president's lawyer is fully fighting for gay rights, then the president may be behind it as well. He made these allegations on TV XYZ. According to him, he does not trust the president on this issue because the president cannot openly make it clear in various international platforms whether he is in favour of LGBTQI or not.
This has created two sides on social media about this suspicion by the member of Parliament.
Below are some comments.
From the comments above, there are some who are in favour of what the member of Parliament said. However, there are some also who have blasted what Nii Lante Vandapuye said. According to some comments, this is a very useless comment ever from an MP. This is just allegation and there is no facts backing it. This may even lead to his arrest for such suspects.
The bill in currently in the Parliament of Ghana to pass or reject anti-LGBTQI+ in Ghana.
