The president is simply destroying the economy. And after destroying it, he now wants to fix it with the E-levy.
When you look at the statistics, Ghana borrowed a whopping 22 billion in just a year, but where is the end results.
Also, when NPP won the 2016 elections, they planned the budget for the year with about 1.4 billion, which was twice as much as the budget by the NDC government the previous year who planned the budget with about 600 million. Just think of the money that was squandered.
Johnny Hughes was right to make such a statement. Ghana has already passed the 60% of GDP and is presently at 80% of GDP. Moreover, the country has been downgraded to a B- just at the beginning of the year. By the time Akuffo Addo's tenure of office in finished, the country will be at its worst, no doubt about it.
