The National Democratic Congress party Communication officer, Sammy Gyamfi and former member of parliament and deputy health minister, Hon Bernard Oko Boye has warned Ghanaians about the covid-19 vaccine.
The former deputy health minister who is a health or medical professional speaking for the government of Ghana morning show today, has warned Ghanaians that they should be serious about the covid-19 vaccination as the government of Ghana is trying to vaccinate the people.
According to him speaking on Metro TV today, he has stated that Ghanaians should go for the vaccine as people are speculating that some people have been dead in taking the covid-19 vaccine jab in part of European countries and in other continent.
He said those saying that there's blood clot in some places in Europe and some countries has stopped using the vaccine has not happened in Ghana yet, and people should not wait until they get covid-19 virus before they go for it.
According to him, Ghana has not experienced any side effect of the blood clot issue as speculated.
Dr Oko Boye hinted that the recovery rate is going high and it has shown that people should go for the jab and stop listening to speculations.
Sammy Gyamfi also jump in and stated that the vaccine is good and people should go for it but if there are side effects, the government should withdraw the vaccine.
Sammy Gyamfi also advised the government to investigate the concerns raised about the vaccine and do independent testing on our own self as Ghana is waiting to hear from European health professionals on the blood clot speculations and it's issue.
He also informed the government to do independent investigations into the $150 testing PCR test at Kotoka international airport last year.
