You have to apologize to Ghanaians for badly managing the economy – Fred Agbenyo blasts Nana Addo

Fred Agbenyo, a member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) communications team, has accused the Akufo-Addo government of failing to recognize Ghanaians' difficult economic circumstances.

According to him, Ghanaians' problems are the result of the government's poor economic management.

On the New Day show with Berla Mundi on TV3, Wednesday August 17, Fred Agbenyo asked the President to apologize to Ghanaians for the country's economic difficulties.

His remarks come after former Okaikwei North MP Fuseini Issah stated that the NPP government was doing better than the previous Mahama administration in terms of economic management prior to the outbreak of the Covid-19 crisis.

On the same show, Mr Fuseini stated that the government recognizes that these are difficult times for the country and its people.

In response, Agbenyo stated, "These our colleagues in power have no shame." You've been in power for six years and you're still blaming the NDC for everything. You have no regard for the people of this country and have no shame."

"You must apologize to Ghanaians for mismanaging the economy," he added. It appears that the president and government are unaware of what Ghanaians are going through, which is not surprising given that this is a president who goes around telling everyone that his ministers are doing well."
