Unhappy party members of the ruling party in Ghana Africa the NPP party have made it known to the general public that they are not in support of the presidents decision to name Akosua Asabea Annan as the new MCE that is the Municipal Chief Executive of the National Patriotic Party.
The group who were wearing red armbands and were wielding placards with simple writings that were showing their gross displeasure for the recent happenings in the party, also sang war songs and burnt car tyres in protest of the Presidents decision. They also stated emphatically that all positions in the abuakwa south constituency have been given to the kyebi inhabitants leaving other people from the other places/ areas.
The NPP members who were visibly exasperated had started their protest since last Sunday. Wednesday however the anger raged on and became more volatile as the members besieged the party office at Akyem Apedwa thereby locking it up.
