On Joy FM's News files on Saturday 26th of December 2020, A member of the National Democratic Congress legal committee Rockson-Nelson Dafeamekpor who also doubles as the Member of Parliament for South Danyi revealed that the National Democratic Congress(NDC) finally will be filing an inquiry to contest the verdicts of 2020 Presidential election at the Supreme Court on Wednesday.
Rockson-Nelson Dafeamekpor however, said whatever the verdict announcement that has been made must be in line with the CI 127.
When asked who has the mandate to announce the elections null and void, he said it will take a court of competent jurisdiction to do that. So someone has to argue that the law has not acknowledged with and that is what his party NDC is on course doing.
I think they should go to court so that this demonstration can stop in the country because people are risking their lives for them.
