Popular radio presenter, Nana Frimpong Ziega of Kessben FM has revealed that he will only support the E-levy policy only if it won't be the usual "chop chop" (unnecessary spending).
According to him, we pay taxes on almost everything in the country but we don't see exactly the things we use the monies generated from the taxes for. He stated that Ghanaians pay sanitation tax but the country is still wallowing in filthy each day and night. He revealed that we pay other taxes which the monies generated from it are not used for any meaningful thing.
Nana Frimpong Ziega added that if the government can assure Ghanaians they won't squander the money but put it in a good use then he will fully support the E-levy.
However, he revealed that the NDC has taken an entrenched position of not accepting the E-levy. He therefore asked the leadership of the NPP to have a dialogue with the NDC so that they will accept the E-levy policy.
