Praises of all forms were showered on the member of Parliament for the Ningo Prampram constituency, Sam George, after his interview with the CNN journalist, Larry Madowo. Today, Sam George dropped a new information that Ghanaians did not know about on the Good Morning Ghana show, Metro TV. Sam George explained that he did not understand why some people were against the bill. According to him, Nigeria and Uganda had put out a more stringent law against homosexuality than the bill he had presented. He revealed that immediately after his interview with Larry Modowo, the politicians and government in Kenya and some others African countries called him through a phone call. He disclosed that the Kenyan government asked him a favor. The favor was that, if they pass the bill in Parliament, he should send them a copy so that they pass the same law in their country. Having said that, Sam George concluded that all countries were monitoring Ghana. So Ghanaians must forge ahead so that the bill is passed.
