The President has send a strong worded statement to the Member of parliament for North Tongu, Hon Okudzeto Ablakwa for his recent claims on how the President, Nana Addo has been milking the country with his extra lavish way of traveling with expensive jets. The Presidency has come out with numerous claims as to why no one should believe Okudzeto Ablakwa.
“Indeed, one may be tempted to ask just what benefit our nation has derived from Hon. Ablakwa’s foreign trips as Ranking Member on the Foreign Affairs Committee of Parliament, ostensibly, to ‘inspect’ Ghana’s Foreign Missions?” the Director of Communications at the Presidency, Eugene Arhin, said in the statement. His remark was successful effect to the caller Twitter station by the North Tongu MP concerning details of President Akufo-Addo’s question to Belgium and past connected to Kigali, Rwanda.
Mr Ablakwa accused the President of spending a hooping sum of €480,000.00 on his recent trip to Belgium and Kigali for a Pan-African Vaccine Manufacturing Project in which the office of the presidency denied all these. They even revealed how the President board a train from France to Belgium as part of the trip and not using a private firm jet which costs that much.
