[VIDEO] It's Not Only Covid-19 And The War, Our Lifestyles Are Part - Kwame Sefa Kayi Says

The coronavirus outbreak and the Russia-Ukraine war were blamed by the government in power for the nation's economic difficulties, which led to an IMF bailout.

There has been a lot of talk about "mismanagement" from those who oppose the current government, particularly the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Even though the economy was OK until we were attacked, government spokespersons have blamed it on COVID/Russia-Ukraine.

On Peace FM's morning show Kokrokoo', Deputy Minister for Lands and Natural Resources George Mireku Duker also connected the economic disaster to the Russia-Ukraine conflict.

Kwami Sefa Kayi, a well-known Ghanaian journalist, disagrees.

"It's time for us to realize that our economic woes are also a result of our own actions or lifestyles, and that this has led us to the International Monetary Fund (IMF). Isn't that what matters? not only for this reason, but also because", he stated.

On March 30, 2022, President Akufo-Addo delivered the State of the Nation Address, in which he lamented the negative impact of the Russia-Ukraine conflict on Ghana.

"The bombs might be dropping on cities half a world away, but they are hitting our pockets here in Ghana," he claims".
