Hopeson Adorye’s suspension is being demanded. However, the general secretary for the Npp have not made an official statement concerning any form of suspension. Suspension of a person in the party is not officiated by the general secretary alone if it is deemed relevant.
This is why people have advised that the name of the general secretary should be left out of these rumors concerning the suspension of Hopeson Adorye. His comment is unwelcome in the party but this has not been decided yet.
And even though inappropriate, the last thing the officials of the party want now is hasty judgements and generalizations especially when it is not in their code of conducts.
Officials of the party are expected to react to this comment from him but his suspension is being demanded by majority of supporters of the party who think he should be punished in order to set an example as well as give other people hope that the party is not one sided.
