
Ghana has become the first Country in the World to deliver Covid-19 Vaccines to rural communities using medical drones.
This record has been achieved by Ghana through the use of Zipline technology which started using drones to deliver medical supplies in Ghana, especially to hard to reach Communities.
Ghana took delivery of its first COVID-19 Vaccine in the first Week of March through a Covax facility.
After the roll out of the Vaccine to areas hard hit by the Virus, the Government decided to partner Zipline Technology to help deliver the Vaccines to rural areas where it is difficult to reach due to inaccessible roads.

This certainly is a good development for Ghana as it has become the first Country in the World to deploy technology in the distribution of COVID-19 Vaccines.
Meanwhile, Ghana has received another concinement of the COVID-19 Vaccine from Russian Company, Sputnik V and another is expected from India to help fight the spread of the novel virus in the Country.
