Ghana is known to be one of the most blessed and advanced African country around the world as our resources, achievements, Democratic governance and just to mention but a few depicts it all.

With respect to this, most European government officials together with prominent Presidents, tourists, artists and just to mention but a few take the opportunity to pay the country a visit as they’re always privileged to witness our culture, tourists sites and others.

In accordance to this, today in history marks the exact date the President of USA, Bill Clinton visited Ghana together with his wife.

On March, 23, 1998, President Bill Clinton arrived in Ghana to meet the then Ghanaian President, J.J Rawlings.

His arrival made him the first sitting US President to ever visit the nation.

President Bill Clinton’s arrival in Ghana was part of a 12-day visit to 6 African countries as Ghana was unexpectedly the first African country he visited.
