According to Honourable Henry Quartey, who is the member of parliament for the Ayawaso Central constituency on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party, NPP and the regional minister for the Greater Accra Region, he is very disappointed in some of his party leaders for condoning indiscipline on the streets of Accra.
He said on Asempa Fm’s late afternoon show dubbed “Ekosiisen” that he is very disappointed in the general secretary of the New Patriotic Party, John Boadu for saying on Angel Fm that his ministerial work will affect the party in the next elections because they are going to lose the votes of those street sellers and he should work with the party to at heart.
He made it clear that he and his team are not forcing those who sell on the streets to leave and since the time, they started their exercise, they have not destroyed anyone’s property. And before they start their job, they engage the people and also give them reasonable time to take their goods off the street.
He then concluded that the Greater Accra Regional ministry does not have any intention to destroy the work of Ghanaians but is committed to carrying out the given to them by the President of Ghana.
Do you like the work being carried out by the Greater Accra regional minister, have you been positively or negatively affected?
