As communicated early on last week, kind courtesy of the Brong Ahafo NABCO Regional Coordinator, Kofi Boateng, the National President and some executives of *NABTAG* were invited to speak at the just ended workshop on the exit pathways, held in BA, Sunyani.
The training program, through the ingenuity of the facilators and full involvement of beneficiaries, ended successfully. In attendance as keynote speakers were Mr. Baba Amando, aide to the MP of Sunyani East; Samuel Mensah, NSS Municipal Director; Samuel Koranteng of Strength Healthcare Center; Mr. Kofi Boateng, NABCO Regional Coordinator for BA; and Seth Cudjoe, the Municipal NABCO Coordinator, Sunyani Municipal.
The BA Regional Coordinator, Kofi Boateng urged trainees to be proud of themselves as nation builders and give gratitude to the president for extending his compassionate hands to their camp, which has resulted in their enrollment on the NABCO scheme. He emphasized on the overriding motive behind NABCO - to eradicate youth unemployment.
The Sunyani Municipal NABCO Coordinator, Seth Cudjoe also advised trainees to uphold the KPIs and build themselves ethically to remain relevant. Ernest Botah was invited as part of the facilitators for the training program. He addressed trainees on entrepreneurship, ethics of interview, and how to create a good CV.
The National President of *NABTAG*, Dennis Katakyie was given the platform to update beneficiaries on the petition for permanent employment, which the association has long been championing. Respectfully, Dennis Katakyie assured trainees of a positive response from the president with respect to permanenting their contract. He further implored the beneficiaries to work hard and keep their positive working attitudes high as they work on the job and told beneficiaries that recommendations from their Supervisors/Linemanagers, District Coordinators/RTCs and the Regional Coordinators are major keys to Permanent NABCO Trainees at our institutions/agencies.
*NABTAG* took the opportunity to inaugurate its Regional and District Executives for BA. Morealso, they were hosted on three (3) radio stations; Nimde3 FM, Dimpa FM, and Ark FM. Several other radio stations, including Space FM, Kingdom FM, Angel FM, amongst others interviewed the executives.
*NABTAG* is pleased to express their appreciation to the stakeholders for coming up with such educative program to enrich NABCO beneficiaries with the needed prerequisites for their informed decision regarding their preferred exit pathways.
Note: NABTAG is set to commence its Regional Tour and bonding merriment; an event aimed at interacting and exchanging pleasantries with beneficiaries. The details shall be soon communicated. We urge trainees to anticipate and get involved.
We could not have had all of these great provisions if NABCO had not been birthed by the Akufo-Addo led NPP government, thus, the very reason to remember that there is the need to get a second round for more greater achievement.
