During an interview on TV3's Mid-day live on Sunday, March 7,2021, said no member of Ghana's legislative assembly can raise concerns in support of Homosexuality in the country, any Member of Parliament who does so must not be a part of the assembly.
"I dare any Member of Parliament to rise up and say he will vote against our motion" - he said.
According to Sam George, the laws in Ghana clearly frowns upon homosexuality in the country and for that, the practice cannot be condoned in Ghana. However, any Member of Parliament who shows support for homosexuality has no business being a member of Parliament. Therefore no member, not even a Minister who supports Homosexuality must be tolerated.
Well I agree with Sam George on this, because our Members of Parliament are the leader we the citizens are looking up to, accepting or supporting homosexuality in the country is more like trading our rich culture and values for something which is of no value and even considered an abomination in the country.
What do you make of what Sam Nartey George is saying?
