Kelvin Taylor is well known for his ability to constantly criticize government officials without considering the age factor. Ghanaians have descended on him on several occasions for his resort to the usage of "disrespectful or foul" language against people who can clearly father him. Today, Kelvin Taylor responded to these critics as he sent a bold message to Nana Addo. He explained that based on the happening in Ghana, he could not sit down quietly and watch the country move into gradual destruction. He disclosed that initially, he was one of those timid journalists who never used insulting language. He explained that he began learning from people like Nana Agyeman Konadu Rawlings, Owusu Bempah, and Nana Addo. Kelvin Taylor noted that he learnt all those bad languages from them during the times when they were "verbally assaulting" the Late John Evans Atta Mills and calling him names.
"I remember the times when you called Atta Mills, Professor Do little and Mahama, incompetent. I was learning from you people. You are my role model."
He declared that Nana Addo was his role model and he was learning from.
