The Member of Parliament for Awutu Senya East, Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture Development, Hon Mavis Hawa Koomson has donated hundred (100) bags of cement to Emmanuel Methodist Church at Opeikuma in the Awutu Senya East Constituency in the Central Region.
These 100 bags of cement form part of thousands of cements she has been distributing to the churches in her constituency as part of her contribution to support the work of God.
Presenting the cements to the church on behalf of Hon Hawa Koomson, the Deputy CEO for Coastal Development Authority, Mr. Emmanuel Kojo Affram said the Minister is committed to ensuring that the churches in her constituency get a better place to worship their Maker.
Mr. Emmanuel Kojo Affram said, Hon Hawa Koomson is grateful to the Churches for their prayers and support because according to him, the MP holds a belief that if it has not been the support of the religious bodies, she would not have been where she is now, therefore, she owes them a huge responsibility to support their activities.
