Nana Akomea made this statement as a panelist on 'Good Morning Ghana' on Metro television this morning, June 11th, 2021, when he gave his opinion on the list of ministries selected by president Akufo Addo as cabinet ministers.
According to Nana Akomea, there are no fixed criteria for selecting ministries as cabinet ministers. There is nothing like this ministry is automatically part of the 19 cabinet ministers. The selection is made at the president's discretion.
"If you see today's cabinet ministers list, you would ask yourself why this ministry is part of the cabinet ministers, and that ministry is not. It is very confusing when you look at it." He said
He added that without mentioning names, you can see ministerial positions on the cabinet ministers list, which will make you will think that between this one and that one, this one should have been on the list.
